Covenant Bible College is one of the best bible colleges in London. Therefore we demand a high level of academic performance from each student. However, certain criteria will need to be met before any award is made. The assigned courses must be satisfactorily completed. All students must pass a 90% of all courses during their programme in order to receive a CBC award i.e. nine out of every ten courses. A minimum of 60% constitutes a pass. The grading policy will be: Exam 50% Practical 25% Reading Assignment 25% All students must have at least 80% attendance for each course i.e. 33 hours out of 42 hours or 9.5 classes out of the 12 classes per term. Assembly and Exaltation are considered an important part of the total learning experience, therefore, attendance is required. Every candidate must also give evidence of true Christian life and character during the college year at CBC in order to be recommended by the Dean for an award. Probation The standard set above is required for graduation. Students who fall below this standard at the end of any term are automatically placed on academic probation. Review of student records will occur after each grading period. The college reserves the right to dismiss students whose academic progress is not satisfactory. An Incomplete "I" will only be given in cases of emergency, serious illness, or other unavoidable causes of delay. All incomplete must be removed within 28 days after the grace period ends or the record will be marked "F" for failure. |
